Two years ago today Gateway officially opened for business. As we celebrate Gateway turning two, we can't help but think of how much Gateway has grown, and is continuing to grow. From day one we have had a vested interest in placing top-quality candidates with the awareness that these professionals will be taking care of our family and loved ones in the community. That has not changed and we are proud to say that we make a difference, every day, with what we do.
Gateway's Management Team is comprised of James, Katie, Scott, Donna and Danielle
James B. Driscoll, Managing Partner ~ James is a founding partner of Gateway.
A native Richmonder, James spent the first part of his business career
climbing corporate ladders and traveling around the world before coming back
home to raise a family. Outside of work, James enjoys giving back to the
community by serving various non-profit boards and volunteering at his church,
St. Stephen’s. Also an avid sports fan, James enjoys playing basketball,
softball, golf and squash. His most cherished time however is spent with
his wife, Catherine, as they raise their two little boys, Lee and Jay.
Katie Gallagher, Recruiting Manager ~
Katie has several years of experience recruiting and was an IT recruiter prior
to switching to healthcare. Katie enjoys placing candidates in positions
where they know they are making a difference in someone's life. In her
spare time Katie teaches group exercise at Gold's Gym, volunteers with the
Junior League of Richmond, enjoys cooking and spending time with her family,
friends and her dog Scout!
Scott Fisher, Managing Partner ~ Scott is also a founding partner of Gateway. Prior to
starting the company, Scott spent 17 plus years in the public and private
accounting sectors in Richmond, VA. Outside of work, Scott is an active
supporter of various children organizations and the Alzheimer's Foundation,
which is very close to his heart. While Scott loves to workout, play golf
and coach youth sports, he most enjoys spending quality time with his wife,
Renee and four children.
Donna Hayes, Recruiting Manager ~ Donna
came to Gateway after 13 years as an Office Manager and HR Specialist. In
addition to recruiting, Donna also serves as Gateway's Office Manager handling all invoicing and payroll. Donna serves on the Executive Board
for Jacob's Chance and is heavily involved in the day to day activities of her
two children Alexandra and Zachary. Donna loves spending time with her family,
friends and her husband AJ.
Danielle Smith, Recruiting Manager ~ Danielle joined Gateway Healthcare Professionals after earning her Master of Business Administration Degree. Prior to joining Gateway Danielle was a recruiter for several years in education at a local University. Danielle has a passion for helping people and for life itself. She finds happiness near the water and enjoys traveling excursions with her husband, David, and fur-child, Zeta.
On the eve of Thanksgiving, we would be remiss if we did not say that we are extremely thankful to our clients and candidates who trust us to make a difference in their businesses, their lives and our community. We are looking forward to many more years of great partnerships!
